Steps to help your child have a fun first haircut!!!
1). Your little one may be a bit intimidated with their first visit at our salon so we ask you not to force their first haircut. Sometimes it takes a couple more visits for your child to adapt to the surroundings as well to the stylist. Come by the salon to hang out and have playtime so your child can associate the salon as a fun place!!!
2). For first time haircuts, we recommend that your make an appointment during the weekdays. Weekends can be overwhelming and distracting with all the busy traffic. We want your child to have the best experience possible!!!
3). We do not mind if you have to reschedule your appointment if it conflicts with your child's feeding and or napping time. We do not want to throw off your little ones schedule. We want your child to be in a happy mood.
4). We understand that it is a big step when getting your child's first haircut. Please let the stylist take the lead and allow ample space for the stylist to work. The stylist may ask for your help to assist your child to make sure their haircut comes out even.
5). Just in case your child does not want to wear a cape we ask you to bring an extra change of clothing.
6). Most of the time these steps work, but just in case please keep in mind the more frequently you visit the salon the better your child will adapt to the idea of getting their haircut. You can always make a follow-up appointment with any AMA Kids associate before you leave the salon.
